IBA Global takes great care and pride in the selection, training, and management of our team of more than 1000 employees working as language, communication skills and cross-cultural trainers and consultants situated around the world. Selected as much for their expertise and experience, as for their professionalism and personal qualities, our trainers are recruited and managed by our Learning Management team, enabling us to call upon leading training professionals to meet your requirements.

Our team of trainers and consultants bring with them extensive business and industry experience. They include captains of industry, lawyers, brokers, bankers, underwriters, diplomats, and HR specialists who combine their professional qualifications and experience with training credentials to offer our clients training that is both knowledgeable and relevant.

Communication Skills Trainers

In addition to professional training qualifications and experience, many IBA Global trainers have strong backgrounds in other fields, such as law, public administration, insurance, banking and finance.

Cross-cultural Trainers

All IBA Global cross-cultural training consultants possess considerable experience in training senior and middle management across all sectors and industries. Our team consists of intercultural specialist as well as subject matter experts. They can be divided into two distinct groups – intercultural experts and country experts.

Intercultural Experts:

Our intercultural experts all hold undergraduate degrees in Intercultural Communication, Business Management or Organisational Psychology. The majority are also postgraduates with MBA or masters in Intercultural Communication. Many of our trainers also have a training background and qualification or a HR accreditation such as Chartered FCIPD & CA.

Country Experts:

Our team of country experts consists of successful public and corporate sector senior managers, many of whom act as advisors to international businesses and government bodies. All have considerable international experience and have lived and worked in their target country for extended periods of time.
These experts provide delegates with a toolkit to work effectively in an international environment and are able to call on their own anecdotal evidence to illustrate key issues while drawing on key elements of intercultural theory.

World Language Trainers

With an unrivalled team of more than 600 language trainers delivering training in over 65 languages and minority dialects annually, IBA Global has a reputation as a leader of world language training catering for both corporate and public sector organisations. Whether your focus is on business and finance, or diplomatic and military language, IBA has access to a network of professional language trainers that ensures that we are able to meet the needs of our clients wherever they might be.
 As a minimum, an IBA World language trainer must have a:
- University degree
- Teaching qualification
- 3+ years of relevant international business experience.
- 3+ years of training experience

English Language Trainers

IBA possesses one of Africa’s leading teams of professional English trainers. We have a long-established team of expert trainers, all combining considerable international business experience with many years of English training know-how. They have the qualifications, maturity, sensitivity, personality and experience to deliver award-winning personalised training of the highest quality.
We offer a unique team of trainers with specialist English language knowledge in the fields of law, insurance and financial services. They are all dual-qualified, offering the benefits of years of practical experience as lawyers or finance professionals together with training expertise. The experience of our trainers is matched by a keen interest in developing their skills in order to continually surpass our clients’ expectations.
 As a minimum, a IBA Global English trainer must have a:
- University degree
- Qualification in Teaching English to Adults
- 5+ years international business experience.
- 5+ years professional English training experience
